Sad to say, our fall garden fell through. There were other things, which took priority and the garden was unattended for a brief time. Since the plants were still somewhat young, the pests had a feast on the young plants. However, we are grateful to Elohiym for the opportunity to try and for what remains. If YAH is willing and time permits, we will try again next fall.
However, all is not lost, praise the Most High, because the medicinal plants are doing wonderfully!
From the start of our garden, some years ago, I had a desire to grow plants that would be a remedy for simple ailments to the more complex chronic health conditions. We started off with one plant and now that list has grown! The new additions that’s joined ‘Big Al’ (Aloe vera) are a Toothache Plant (Spilanthes acmella) and Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica).
Combined, these plants have many benefits which include: anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-ulcer, astringent and analgesic capabilities among many more. And, I know that’s a mouthful, family, but please read on to find out more about the Toothache Plant and Stinging Nettle.
Our recent harvest from the garden … and still growing! Praise the Most High for doing what only he can and continuing to bless us (and others) with such a bountiful harvest! And, quite tasty, I might add 😊 #BlessedAndGrateful
